Lessons and are paid for by monthly tuition with holidays, breaks, and vacation time set up a year in advance. Each month includes three lessons or classes.
Tuition rates for the 2010-2011 year are as follows:
Private Lessons
$96 per month for 40 minute private lessons,
$144 per month for 60 minute private lessons,
Group Classes
$100 for 8 week group adult Recreational Music Making classes,
$60/month for group composition classes,
$72 per month for group beginning piano classes,
$20 for workshops for studio members, $45 for workshops for non/members, and $45/hour for extra private instruction.
30 minute lessons are ONLY available to 4-5 year old students or to make up a missed group class.
Students are required to purchase basic lesson/workshop materials and some supplementary material. On occasion, the teacher will provide supplementary pieces of music for students.
With Dolce Music Service, you are paying for more than just a weekly lesson or class. Tuition covers scheduled lessons throughout the year, but also other activities and work that the teacher does on the student’s behalf. Performance classes and recitals are also included in the tuition payment. There will be additional fees for some festivals and competitions in which a student may choose to partake.
Travel rates:
Lessons are available at your home for an additional fee on a case by case basis. Our address in central Denver, will be mapped with your address to determine the one-way milage.
Fee Schedule:
0-5 miles - $10/month
6-10 miles - $20/month
11-15 miles - $45/month
16-20 miles - $55/month
20+ miles - $75/month
*These fees reflect the one-way distance from our address to yours. These fees are in additional to the monthly tuition and are based on the union minimum for mileage.

Additional Information:
- Family discounts are available; each additional student added after the first one will receive a 20% discount off your tuition. Tuition for two family members for 40 minute lessons is $172/month.
- If a current student refers another student for lessons, a credit of $25 will be applied toward future book purchases.
