Dolce Music Service founders, Luke and Tonya Rackers, are now accepting new students!
Piano Lessons are available in Denver, Colorado and Loveland, CO, and trumpet lessons are available in Denver, Colorado.
Luke is available for beginning-early advanced classical and/or jazz lessons, beginning-advanced music theory lessons, and jazz improvisation lessons. Tonya is available for beginning-intermediate trumpet lessons. Lessons are available for all ages and all walks of life. We have experience teaching students from ages 4-90, and everywhere in between! We strive to continually improve our teaching skills, our musicianship, and our educational philosophy.
Lessons are conducted on a quarterly schedule, but lessons based on the number of weeks in a month are also available. Fall, winter, and spring quarters are 12 weeks each starting the first week in September, the first week of December, and the third week in March, respectively with make-up lessons the 13th week after each quarter. This schedule also allows for breaks for holidays as well as winter, spring, and summer breaks. Summer session is 4 weeks long from the middle of July to the middle of August, with make-up lessons the week after. This leaves time off for students as they are starting their new school year. These are approximate timings. Please check the website before each quarter begins for specific dates. 40 minute lessons are available for students seeking more intesive lessons and 30 minute lessons are available for beginning students and students looking for a more relaxed work load.
The tuition for lessons will be $360 per twelve week quarter for 40 minute lessons and $120 per summer session for 40 minute lessons. The tuition for 30 minute lessons will be $300 per twelve week quarter and $100 per summer session. These fees include an additional week set aside for make-up lessons, holidays and breaks, an optional recital on the make-up lesson week, and supplemental materials for recitals and other fun music and exercises. Studnets will be asked to purchase their basic lesson materials. Per lesson rates are $22 for 30 minutes and $33 for 45 minutes which are payable by the month. 60 minute lessons are available for an additional $180 per quarter/session and $90 per summer session. Prices are subject to change based on AFM and DMA standards.
The purpose of the 40 minute lessons is to allow for extra time to develop each student's musicianship. This extra time gives the teacher an opportunity for more ear training, listening, and other fun excersises and activities without taking time away from the lesson assignment. Another great option to consider is doing partner 60 minute lessons with a sibling or close friend.
Students will have an opportunity for optional recitals and other student gatherings in the future. Please check back often for more information under the 'for students' tab.
Please contact us for a free interview and introductory lesson as well as available dates and times. Students and parents must sign a contract for each new quarter. Contracts for the whole year are also available to ensure a time slot.

- Under certain circumstances, lessons based at your place of residence are available for an additional fee dependent on your location.
- Weekly lessons are paid for at the beginning of each month based on the number of weeks in that month.
- Family discounts are available: each additional student added after the first one will receive a 15% discount off your total fee.
- If current students refer another student for lessons, and they sign up for a quarter, a finder's discount of 20% will be applied to the next quarter's fee.
