About Us:
Luke Rackers, pianist, composer, and teacher, and Tonya Rackers, trumpet player and teacher, are a husband and wife, musical team! Whether performing or teaching together or separately, music is a defining characteristic in both of their lives. Luke and Tonya are dedicated to filling their lives and others lives with music because of music's powerful ability to enhance life, love, and happiness. Their musical services are available either individually or together.

Luke holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree from Goddard College in Music Composition, Jazz Studies, and Music Philosophy, and is now a Master of Fine Arts student at Goddard College, studying piano education, music composition, and music healing. Before attending Goddard, Luke attended the University of Denver's Lamont School of Music, studying jazz piano with Eric Gunnison and jazz composition and arranging with Dave Hanson. He is a very busy freelance pianist in the Denver and Northern Colorado regions. He enjoys teaching, composing and arranging. Tonya holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music degree from the University of Northern Colorado with an emphasis in trumpet performance. She also enjoys teaching and performing. Both Luke and Tonya are dedicated to the continual improvment of their musicianship, education, and teaching philosophies.

Luke is available for solo jazz piano performance, group jazz performance, classical piano performance, teaching, recording, composition, arranging, orchestration, and more. Tonya is available for trumpet performance, recording, teaching, and more. Tonya and Luke are available as a piano/trumpet duo for a variety of different settings as well, including weddings, school performances, church performances, and similar events.
